Sunrise Multicultural Center Inc. is a recreation and enrichment program that operates after school, and summer programs for children ages six through 15 years of age. This year our Summer Day Camp will operate June 29, 2008 until August 31 2008, Monday through Friday - 8:00 am to 5:30 pm.

Sunrise Day Camp is housed in a newly renovated building and provides a safe and nurturing environment in the community of Bushwick, Brooklyn. The camp is a socially based program providing the necessary skills for the building blocks of life. Created with fun in mind to keep our campers active throughout the summer, we are finally staffed with professionals to sufficiently execute scheduled events.

The calendar of multi-cultural events will include museum trips, field sports, arts and crafts, BBQ’s, in- house activities such as video dance, movie day and trips. All activities are age-approprite and designed with your child's abilities in mind, and include meals.

Sunrise Summer Camp will host 70 children, providing breakfast, lunch, and snacks. For a small fee the children will be provided with camp uniforms. Transportation for trips in included. Private pick-up service will be available at an additional cost.

Camp orientation for caregivers is scheduled for June 27, 2008 and June 28, 2008 at 7:30 pm. Program procedures and policies will be distributed at the meeting. All Vouchers are welcome.
